Why GreenMind?

Let’s be honest, there are a lot of solar companies out there. So why should you choose to work at GreenMind? That is a perfectly valid question that sadly too few companies are willing to answer.

 

At GreenMind we believe that the sales agents do the hard work. Therefore, they should get paid the most. Sounds logical right? Unfortunately, the way most solar companies operate today this scenario is not even close to accurate. Additionally, there is a lot of corporate and executive greed. In many of the large solar companies today (not all of course), before the sales agent even gets paid, the board of directors, executives, regional managers, local managers, trainers and recruiters each take a chunk out of the sales commission. The sales agent is left with whatever is remaining. Put bluntly--that is unfair and in some extreme cases unethical. The good men and women who sell solar often have little or no control over their financial future. Lastly, for some odd reason most companies put some kind of hourly and production requirement on their sales agents. They tell you, “you must work 40 hours a week,”  and “you have to sell at minimum four sales a month or we will fire/let you go,” or “come on John, you can sell more than that!” Here at GreenMind we don’t like this kind of pushy way about doing business.

 

Rather, this is what we do:

 

  1. Decide for yourself how much you get paid! The normal range is $400-$800 per Kilowatt.

  2. No minimum or maximum work hours. Work as much or as little as you want!

  3. No sales quotas. If you sell one solar system or twenty a month doesn’t matter to us.

  4. No nasty adders eating out of your sales commissions.

  5. Recruit if you want and take as big or small an override as you desire.

  6. Be your own boss, make your own decisions, and determine your own destiny!

 

That’s why you should work at GreenMind. Anything more would just be “too good to be true.”


Who We Are NOT A Good Fit For

At GreenMind, we are looking for a very particular type of person. Thus, there are people who would NOT be a good fit for our company. If you are a person who is not self-directed and motivated, then GreenMind is not the place for you. If you do not like being your own boss (and all that entails) then GreenMind is not a good fit. We will support, train, and advise individuals, but the rest is up to you. We recognize that these characteristics have nothing to do with the value of a person, but rather with personality, desires, and differing world-views.
